Functie Mission Context

Within our bank, the CoE Analytics & AI’s objective is to modernize its data repositories, data governance, data management and data usage.

One of our missions is to enable the advanced analytics use cases identified throughout the bank. The use cases can come from any department at the bank, for instance Risk, compliance, ALM, Fraud Prevention, Marketing, Sales or HR.

As a Devops\ML Engineer you will need to build and manage the Data Science ecosystem and integrate models into the IT infrastructure of the bank.

Function Description

The CoE on A&AI A&AI Deployment Support team is looking for a Machine Learning DevOps Engineer with a proven track record deploying python applications and/or data science models. You should be specialized or have a strong interest in secure development practices as well as continuous testing and deployment. As a DevOps Engineer within the Center of Expertise in Analytics & Artificial Inigence (CoE on A&AI), you will have the opportunity to work at the centre of the banks initiatives in smart automation and  machine learning.

You will work to maintain and improve the workbench environment of the data scientists as well as monitor and deploy A&AI models. As part of your duties, you will have to work on the following

Assist data scientist in setting up project by helping them identify and install the correct dependencies in their environment, provide them with a basic project that comes with all the required tooling for code quality and continuous testing. Interface between data scientists and IT to bring new models to production and guarantee that all quality checks are met. Act in case of incident. Identify possible causes and dispatch requests to the appropriate squads. Communicate with project stakeholders on the status of those incidents and provide post mortem analysis. Explore new ways of combining the available tools of the bank to unlock new capabilities for data scientists to bring AI into the bank. Communicate the fruits of your work directly to the top management. Evolve in an environment where innovation and lean processes are praised, straight-forward communication is encouraged, and peers understand the meaning of team up.

Jouw profiel Requirements

Language requirements English You have fluent knowledge of English (spoken and written)

Dutch/French Good level of French and/or Dutch. (both is a plus)

Education You have at least a Master’s degree in computer science.

Candidates with other academic backgrounds with substantial knowledge of Programming, System Engineering, or DevOps are also encouraged to apply.

Required experience/knowledge You have at least years of relevant experience. And at least year related to Data Science and Analytics.

Technical experience Mandatory Strong experience in Python !! Experience with http rest APIs Experience with Git (version control system). Experience in MLOps / DevOps Preferable Software testing. Linux operating system experience Experience in containerization (docker, podman)

Business experience Preferable Knowledge of the financial services industry
